Lessa's Story

Lessa is a singer-songwriter deeply rooted in the local Boston music scene. Her sound blends alt-rock and indie elements, with soulful lyrics reflecting her passion for songwriting. Her most notable release is the single “For The Plot!,” channeling influences such as Hayley Williams and Olivia Rodrigo. Lessa and her band have grown a following in the college and DIY music scene in the Boston neighborhoods of Allston and Fenway. Their most notable headline gig was at The Rockwood in Fenway. They frequently perform at popular DIY basement venues throughout Allston, as well as on numerous college radio stations, including Emerson College, Tufts, and Boston University. Currently, Lessa is releasing singles and plans to release an EP in the coming year. Lessa is a songwriter first and prides herself on the authenticity and honesty of her lyrics. Each song chronicles her experiences creating a narrative of her life. She is influenced by artists and writers such as Hayley Williams, Bulow, and Maggie Rogers.
